Multiple new outlets recently reported on a local franchisee bringing Jack in the Box to Michigan. According to the initial reporting on Business Wire, the popular fast-casual chain has signed a five-unit agreement to expand its reach in Michigan. The new Michigan franchisees are a local father-and-son duo.
Franchisees Snehal and Niraj Patel signed the agreement under the name of their hospitality group, Twins Hospitality. “I have been in the hospitality industry for the last two decades with hotels,” Snehal Patel told What Now Detroit in an email. “I always want to try something new, but we were looking for the right fit for us. I discussed the Jack in the Box franchise with my sons Niraj and Nirmal, and they were both very excited.”
According to Business Wire, the first Jack in the Box store is set to open in Battle Creek, where the Patel family currently resides. Snehal Patel confirmed that the first store is anticipated to open “by the end of this year, or the beginning of 2025.” Patel also mentioned that they’re targeting Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids for future locations.
Jack in the Box, a San Diego-based quick service restaurant chain, is known for its expansive menu featuring everything from burgers, tacos, chicken sandwiches, milkshakes, late night snacks, to breakfast items. According to Business Wire, the new locations will “offer dine-in, drive-thru, and mobile ordering options and will be open 24 hours per day.”
