The name Joe Maino is itself a guarantee for good pizza, as many already use his Detroit-style pizza recipes at home. Maino also runs a YouTube channel showing his pizza-making and cooking process. DropTop Pizza will serve Maino’s beloved Detroit-style pizza, as well as beer and wine, according to comments posted on the business’s Facebook page. The business also mentioned it will offer vegan options as well as gluten-free crusts.

The business has received much positive feedback on its social media, with several people looking forward to its opening, citing that every concept that has occupied the building has been a success. What Now Detroit reached out to Maino with an email request for comments but hadn’t heard back by the time of this coverage.
