The new owner, according to information available on Good Earth Cafe’s Facebook page, appears to be Todd Girdis, an entrepreneur based out of Saline, MI. Girdis also owns RowOne Home Entertainment and was the former Asst. Director of Entrepreneurial Services at Ann Arbor SPARK.

“The Good Earth – Holland, MI will be rising again!!! A new countdown will be coming soon!!! Thank you to all of you that have been our prayer warriors encouraging and hoping this day would come. Stay tuned to our Facebook page for more updates and news.” The new ownership posted on the cafe’s Facebook.

As indicated by Holland Sentinal, the new owner will maintain most of the original menu. The business will also have 10 covered parking spaces in The Towers with additional parking available for customers in the municipal lots nearby.

What Now Detroit reached out to Girdis with an email inquiry but hadn’t heard back by the time of this coverage. Meanwhile, former patrons are encouraged to share their good memories with The Good Earth Cafe on the business’s Facebook page.
