The Tomey Group Acquires Three More Jimmy John’s Locations

Michigan's largest Jimmy John's franchisee continues to grow.

Farmington Hills-based Tomey Group has recently added three more Jimmy John’s franchise locations to its portfolio. The three restaurants are located at 65940 Van Dyke Ave. in Washington Township, 46526 Gratiot Ave. in Chesterfield and 35100 23 Mile Road in New Baltimore.

Tomey Group is family-owned and operated by the Tomey family. The group was founded in 2003 by Fawzi Tomey with siblings Anthony and Michael Tomey as CEO and CFO. The group is one of the largest Jimmy John’s franchisees in Michigan and a top 5 in the nation. With the latest acquisitions, the group now owns and operates 48 Jimmy John’s locations.

In addition to Jimmy John’s, the Tomey Group own and operate several real estate properties throughout Michigan including Fisk Corners Shopping Center in White Lake, Cedar Oaks Lakeside Resort in Houghton Lake as well as the attached restaurant, Sully’s on the Lake, and Bull Ventures which include 5 apartment complexes throughout Royal Oak, Shelby Township, Fraser, Grosse Pointe, and St. Clair Shores.
