Co-owners Ryan and Nikki Mcdonald are seasoned brewery operators and are the masterminds behind Howell-based brewery Hartland Brewing Co. Similar to Hartland, the new Linden will be another microbrewery featuring beer, wine, and cider. However, Linden Brewing Co. will highlight a menu full of creative American comfort food whereas Hartland had a focus on pizzas.

Linden Brewing Co. will be situated in a historic, two-story building, taking over the first floor and the front portion of the second floor. Plans submitted indicate the first floor will have a bar and seating areas on the front and production equipment in the back. The second floor will contain additional seating, more beer taps, and a bathroom. The new brewery will seat approximately 83 people and there are no plans for outdoor seating currently.

By the time of this coverage, the owners were not available for comments. According to information shared on social media, the owners now hope to open the brewery around March or April 2024.
