The new franchisee, Candace Kovar, comes with a health and wellness of her own. After establishing a behavioral health specialist career, Candace decided to take her passion for bringing healthy food options to her community one step further. Drawing inspiration from her mother’s entrepreneurial spirit, Candace saw Toastique as the perfect place to build her legacy while benefitting the local community.

“I get goosebumps whenever I discuss the correlation between healthy food and our mental health. Toastique’s menu can elevate and help your body and mind. We are here to build a lifestyle, and I know what Toastique offers will translate smoothly to Ann Arbor’s local culture,” Candace told What Now Detroit over the phone.

The Ann Arbor Toastique is set to open in Spring 2024 at 200 E Washington St., Ann Arbor, MI 48104. The menu will feature a series of gourmet toast, bowls, smoothies, and daily juice flavors cold-pressed fresh every 24 hours.
