Some may remember the Sugah Please Coffee House in Oaks Mall. Now, Sugah Please is moving forward with more offerings as they plan for Bayou Breakfast Brunch Bar – Sugah Please Coffee House, set to open on Dec. 1

Known for its friendly atmosphere, quality coffee, and attentive service, Sugah Please was a neighborhood gem at its previous location. The new Bayou Breakfast Brunch Bar will inherit the brand’s high standards and add a Southern-inspired menu infused with the essence of New Orleans. The new brunch bar will also carry homemade cakes and pies for those with a sweet tooth.

“Our mission is to elevate the distinct appreciation for decadent coffee, brunch, dessert, and cocktail pairings, while fostering memorable dining experiences within a warm and inviting environment,” owner Wendy Ringo told What Now Detroit in her email.

Set to open on Dec. 1, Bayou Breakfast Brunch Bar will open Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and weekends from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Yes. Bayou will be a brunch bar that serves your favorite items throughout the day. The brunch bar will be located inside 150 W Jefferson, a 25-story office building with waterfront views on West Jefferson between Shelby and Griswold Streets in Detroit’s Financial District.
