Named #2 Top Emerging Franchise Brand of 2023 by The Wolf of Franchises, Pitssburg-based Milkshake Factory was founded by a 4th generation chocolatier and spent over a decade perfecting its craft in making the perfect milkshake. The brand uses premium ice cream, whose recipe is designed to be blended into milkshakes. The menu also carries various sundaes and chocolates.

“I’ll be able to relate to our Franchisees on a much deeper level given we’ll be facing the same challenges together. And most importantly, this will enable me to create a more informed and effective support structure.” Reese said in the post, “Quite simply, it’ll make me much better at my job.”

Reese confirmed with What Now Detroit that the Ann Arbor location is anticipated around June. Having spent most of his career in Pittsburg working with leading brands, including HJ Heinz and Edward Marc Brands, Reese is excited to be returning to his hometown with what Milkshake Factory offers.

“I firmly believe in the potential of this business, and I intend to make a great return on my investment. Also, if I’m being honest, Ann Arbor is an amazing market, and I didn’t want someone else to take it.” Reese said.
