Owner Euklid Doko, a Rochester Hills resident, will build out a 2,200-square-foot restaurant in the vacant tenant space at 33866 Dequindre Rd. The restaurant will have a small dining room that can hold approximately 36-40 people, a wood pizza oven, and a wood grill. The applicant will also retile the floor.

The restaurant will primarily focus on takeout and delivery, according to the narrative Doko submitted. The menu will include freshly grilled meat and wood fired pizza. Meat options include lamb, roasteries lamb, and veal steak. Pizza options include a four-cheese blend, a house pizza, vegetable, pepperoni, and meat lover. The restaurant will also serve soda, coffee, and tea. However, there will be no alcoholic beverage option.

Once open, La Fontana will operate from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Sunday. What Now Detroit reached out to Doko but hadn’t heard back by the time of this coverage.
