According to leasing documents, the restaurant will be located at the South Orchard Plaza shopping center.

Yaya’s Pizza owner Yahya Abuelezz confirmed to What Now Detroit that a lease for a new location has been signed.

The restaurant first opened last year in Ypsilanti at 2257 Ellsworth Road.

The Yaya’s Pizza menu is entirely halal, meaning that the meat is prepared in a way that adheres to Islamic law. The menu includes customizable and specialty pizzas, including the namesake Yaya’s Pizza (chicken, corn, sun-dried tomato, pesto sauce and mozzarella) and the Chicken Shawarma pizza (garlic paste, chicken shawarma, tomato, pickles, parsley, mozzarella). They also serve wings, subs, calzones and salads.
