Popular Coffee Chain to Open New Location in South Bay County

Two multi-unit franchisees are opening their 4th Biggby Coffee location in Frankenlust Township this October.

Frankenlust Township will soon have a new Biggby Coffee location, according to news first seen on MLive. The vacant storefront that once belonged to Dive and Glide Scuba store is slated to become the second Biggby location in Bay County.

The building at 6185 Westside Saginaw Rd sits right off northbound I-75’s Exit 160, and construction has started. The upcoming Biggby Coffee is owned and operated by multi-unit franchisees Erin and John Fitzgerald, who also own locations in Saginaw, St. Louis, and Alma. The upcoming Bay County location will be the duo’s 4th Biggby Coffee location. Erin Fitzgerald told What Now Detroit over the phone that the new location is anticipated to have a grand opening on Oct. 1.

Biggy Coffee is a Michigan-native coffee brand that started in East Lansing in 1995. The chain has grown to over 400 locations across Michigan, Florida, Kentucky, Illinois, Ohio, Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Wisconsin, Idaho, and Indiana. The brand’s menu features a wide array of specialty coffee drinks, lattes, teas, shakes, and smoothies, alongside limited-time specialty seasonal and special occasion drinks.
