The new Troy Starbucks will convert the 2,532-square-foot retail space at Ste A into a coffee shop with additional seating on a patio. The plans also include new landscaping, vegetation, and fences. Starbucks will join a handful of other quick-service chains in the center, including Tropical Smoothie Cafe, Smashburger, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Einsten’s Bros. Other businesses in the center include a Walgreen’s, Kroger, a hockey supply store, and a banquet hall.

There appears to be another Starbucks within the same area at 1921 E Big Beaver Rd, making the proposed Starbucks less than a few minutes walk away from another location. What Now Detroit reached out to Starbucks but hadn’t heard back by the time of this coverage. There are 8 Starbucks in Troy in total, according to the company’s website.
