“Grosse Pointe has always been on our radar for possible markets for Daily Jam. We feel that Grosse Pointe is the perfect fit for our concept and believe the community can benefit from a new fresh breakfast lunch brunch concept.” Anthony Ansara, partner of Daily Jam, told What Now Detroit in an email.
Ansara is teaming up with his family members Michael, Nicholas and Victor Ansara and Daniel Curis Sr. and Jr., and Richard Curis from the Curis family, former franchisees for the previous Grosse Point Woods Big Boy, to open the new Daily Jam.
“When the Curis family decided not to renew their Big Boy franchise after 50+ years we approached them about a partnership on this new location. Grosse Pointe is a very family oriented community that ties in well with what were are looking to achieve with our newest location and what Daily Jam is about,” Ansara said.
Daily Jam’s menu includes unique southwest-inspired dishes, a full bar, and a wide range of coffee and healthy smoothies for those seeking an alcohol-free boost. Some noteworthy menu items include various sautés, the brand’s famous grilled potatoes topped with two over medium eggs with gluten-free and vegan variations; gourmet avocado toasts and the Original Chop salad.
“We locally source as many products as possible including our coffee, bread, dairy, eggs, and select meats. With a casual comfortable atmosphere we try to make our restaurants the perfect meeting spot or gathering place for family, friends, or business associates,” Ansara said.
