Famous Hamburger has filed permits to renovate the space at 630 S. Main Street in Plymouth for a new restaurant. The 2,018-square-foot space is currently occupied by Green Jade Spa, which will is relocating to 1058 Ann Arbor Rd on August 1st.

According to application materials, the upcoming Famous Hamburger location will be corporate-owned. Mohammed Hider, the company’s president, plans to renovate the interior and exterior of the building to turn it into the new burger restaurant. Tables and chairs will also be placed outside along South Main Street for additional seating.
Famous Hamburger is a family-owned brand with locations in Downtown Dearborn, Canton, and Auburn Hills, as well as a food truck serving the metro for catering, pop up, and private events. Founded by Beirut immigrant Phillip Hider and his father, Famous Burger began its initial operation in Detroit in 1997. The menu features various burgers, salads, wraps, sides, entrees, and shakes. The brand recently added hotdogs to its offerings.
