Owner of the incoming restaurant, Rochelle Jarbo, purchased all assets of the existing restaurant space from the previous owner and her uncle Nawar Jarbo this June.
“I am very excited to begin this new venture of my life as a restaurant owner serving the community with the best middle-eastern cuisine in the city of Sterling Heights in what I love to do best,” wrote Jarbo in her statement of intent, adding that she plans to hire 5 to 8 employees with Nawar Jarbo as restaurant manager.
The new Mediterranean restaurant will open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., though it is unclear if the establishment will open seven days a week. The menu includes traditional middle-eastern breakfast items like the Iraqi Chilli-Fry, classic appetizers such as fattoush and baba ghannoush, various sandwiches and entree plates.
Owner and manager of the new restaurant was not available for comments.
